Every step is taken to ensure your new puppy is the happy healthy and well socialized.
From the moment your puppy is born we start monitoring their growth and health needs.
Within days your new puppy has been to the vets' office. Our vet will give all puppies a checkup before removing their declaws. This will prevent injury later in life. We then talk about any extra nutritional needs for Mom, and set up a 6-7 week checkup and shot appointment. We keep to a schedule for deworming and weekly weights up until each puppy goes home with their new families.
We expect the same quality in care and treatment for our puppies from our families.
Training is a part of that quality of care and treatment.
Saint Bernard as a breed are highly intelligent extremely loyal, eager and willing to please. We suggest to start training early, while our puppy is still at a manageable size. Without proper and consistent training any dog(s) will not know what is expected of them.

Our story - how it all started.
Our story started out with tragedy, and healing. We lost our 15 year old son in a freak fishing accident. Our world came crashing down. It felt like we would never recover from our loss. My girls lost a protector, best friend, and brother. James and I had lost our son.
After a few months of working hard to help our daughters through their loss, they asked about adding to our family.
A NEW PUPPY!
We research all the breeds discussed pros and cons of different breeds. I had grown up with small breeds, large breeds and giant breeds. After many discussions of what we all were looking for in a new puppy, we agreed a Saint Bernard was our best fit. I started to research and find a breeder. After a few emails I found an amazing breeder, that now has become a dear friend, mentor, and family to us.
We waiting impatiently for our new puppy to be born and watched as she grew. When our Willow came home the light enter our home again.
We will never totally heal from our loss, but our Willow has helped us see that life did not stop.
We moved out of the city and started our new adventure.
And then we thought if one slobbery fur monster could give us so much joy, more wouldn't hurt.
We also wanted to give and help others, and that's when WGT was born.
